TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
